Safe is a comedy showcase series dedicated to providing hilarious comedy during decidedly non-hilarious times. It was founded April 2020. This ticket doubles as a reservation at Bok Bar from 5pm-6:30pm. Food and drink are available a la carte.
Christine Olivas - Christine has performed on local comedy/storytelling shows (Tell Me a Story, Comedy Incarnate, Story Hole, and Pass the Mic, to name a few) and done standup at established venues in Philly (Punch Line, Good Good Comedy Theatre, Philly Improv Theater), Tempe, Las Vegas, Los Angeles (Flappers, Tao Comedy Club), and NYC (Greenwich Village Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club). Brandon Vincent Jackson - Brandon was named one of the 50 best undiscovered stand-up comedians by Thrillist magazine. He was a Phillie’s Phunniest finalist in 2016 and has been featured in a variety of Helium Comedy Club showcases including the Dirty Dozen, the Best of Philly Showcase, and an Evening with Chip Chantry. He also produces a monthly comedy showcase at Spaceboy Clothing in Wilmington. Since graduating from the University of Delaware, Brandon has served as a youth mentor and educator for which he won a Delaware and National volunteer award.
Zoe Dixon - Zoe has performed all around Philadelphia, including Punchline's Patio Series. She hosts at Frankie Bradley's and Dahlak Paradise, and was featured on comedy showcases such as The Comments Section, and The Afternoon After at Wine Dive Philly.
Ned Arnold - Ned has performed all over New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, including Stress Factory New Brunswick, Producer's Club in Manhattan, and Philly Punchline. He currently runs a virtual game show, For Real, and hosts an outdoor open mic at Dahlak Paradise. He is also a screenwriter, having written multiple features, and won honorable mention in the NYC Screenwriter's Midnight Challenge.
